Terms & Conditions
These terms and conditions ensure a safe, enjoyable, and productive environment for all participants. Please take a moment to familiarise yourself with the below.
1. Enrollment and Registration
Registration: Enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis. To secure a spot, a completed registration form, including all required information,must be submitted. A confirmation email will be sent upon successful registration, outlining the next steps.
Fees & Deposit: A non-refundable deposit equal to 50% of fees must be paid at the time of registration. Payments can be made via credit card during registration.
Cooling Off Period: In the unlikely event that you change your mind, you may request in writing a refund of the Deposit within 72 hours of making the booking.
Outstanding Fees: Outstanding fees may be paid by going onto the website and clicking Pay Outstanding Fees on the bottom of each page.
Privacy: Personal information collected during registration will be used solely for the administration of the program and will be kept confidential in accordance with applicable privacy laws. This information will not be shared with third parties without explicit consent.
2. Attendance and Participation
Attendance: Regular attendance is essential for the full benefit of the program. Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring their child attends each session. Please notify Mentorio in advance of any planned absences.
Behavior: Participants are expected to maintain respectful behavior towards instructors, staff, and fellow students. Any form of bullying, harassment, or disruptive behavior cannot be tolerated and may unfortunately esult in the participant being removed from the program without a refund. Parents will of course be notified of any behavioral issues.
Parental Involvement: Parents/guardians must ensure timely drop-off and pick-up of their child. Chronic late pickups may result in additional fees or removal from the program. Parents are encouraged to provide as much feedback as possible either in person or by emailing us at spark@mentorio.ca
3. Health and Safety
Medical Information: Parents/guardians must provide accurate and up-to-date medical information, including details of any allergies, medical conditions, or special needs their child may have. This information must be submitted at the time of registration and updated as necessary.
Emergency Contacts: Parents/guardians must provide at least two emergency contact numbers that can be reached during program hours. These contacts should be able to respond promptly in case of an emergency.
Illness: Children who are ill or show symptoms of illness should not attend the program. If a child becomes ill during the program, parents/guardians will be contacted immediately to pick up their child. In the case of contagious illnesses, a doctor's note confirming the child is no longer contagious may be required before returning.
Medication: Any medications that need to be administered during program hours must be accompanied by written instructions from the child’s physician and delivered in their original prescription container. A consent form for administering medication must be signed by the parent/guardian.
4. Liability
Waiver: By enrolling their child in any Mentorio programs, parents/guardians agree to release and hold Mentorio, its staff, and volunteers harmless from any and all liability, claims, or demands arising from their child’s participation in the program. This waiver includes, but is not limited to, personal injury, property damage, or loss.
5. Media Release
Consent: Parents/guardians may consent, during the registration process, for Mentorio to use some photographs, video recordings, and other media taken during the program for promotional and educational purposes. This consent may include use on the Mentorio website, social media, and printed materials.
6. Program Changes and Cancellations
Changes: Mentorio reserves the right to make changes to the program schedule, curriculum, or instructors as necessary. Parents/guardians will be notified of any significant changes in advance. Such changes will be communicated through email and, where necessary, through direct phone calls.
Cancellations: In the event that Mentorio must cancel the program or any session thereof, parents/guardians will be notified as soon as possible, and a full or prorated refund will be issued accordingly. Mentorio will not be responsible for any costs incurred by parents/guardians due to program cancellation.
7. Communication
Updates: Parents/guardians will receive regular updates about the program via email, including any important announcements or changes. It is the responsibility of parents/guardians to provide a current email address and to check it regularly. Updates will also be posted on the Mentorio website and social media channels.

8. Agreement
Acceptance: By enrolling in any Mentorio program, parents/guardians and participants agree to adhere to these terms and conditions.
9. Intellectual Property
All content and materials available on our website, including but not limited to text, graphics, website name, code, images, and logos, are the intellectual property of Mentorio and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law. Unauthorized use of any content or materials is prohibited.
All course materials provided by Mentorio are protected by intellectual property laws and are intended solely for the personal use of enrolled participants; unauthorized distribution or use is strictly prohibited.
